Systems
The
CRS104 and CRS206 are rugged portable Intercom System Control
Units  designed
for temporary installations in harsh environments. When used
with the appropriate telephones, they provide reliable communications
in the most demanding situations.
The
CRS104 is a 5 station Control Unit that has provision for
1 Central Office line, 1 telephone with external signaling
device and 4 telephones without external signaling devices.
The CRS104 system has a single talk path and operates as a
party line. Each extension can be called individually using
the keypad numbers 1 to 5.
The
CRS206 is an 8 station Control Unit that has provision for
2 CO lines, 2 telephones with external signaling devices and
6 telephones without external signaling devices. The CRS206
has 2 separate talk paths which allows for 2 independent conversations.

Most
quality analog telephones can be used with the Control Units.
This allows the user to select telephones appropriate for
the site conditions.
Inexpensive
desk telephones can be used indoors while weatherproof telephones
can be used outdoors. Class 1, Div. 1 or Class 1, Div. 2
telephones, approved for use in hazardous areas, are also
compatible with either the CRS104 or CRS206.
Both
Control Units offer the user incredible flexibility when
connecting external signaling devices to their telephones.
Loud ringers, strobe lights and buzzers can all be powered
from these Control Units to provide clear signaling in high
noise areas.
Drilling
rigs and construction sites require reliable communication
systems that are both easy to install and use.
The
CRS Control Units are fully connectorized so that they can
be quickly set up and operational. Their compact design
allows them to be easily packed up and moved from one job
location to another.
Housed
in weatherproof Nema 4 fiberglass enclosures these units
can be safely installed indoors or outdoors. For extreme
conditions, both models are available with a powder coated
metal enclosure.
